This project includes two handcrafted bamboo structures completed in November 2019 in Yunnan. The tall bamboo corridor pavilion reaches 6.9 meters high with a curved roof area of 261.59 square meters, while the standalone viewing pavilion stands 4.67 meters tall with a footprint of 51.86 square meters.
Built with treated solid bamboo poles, the pavilions feature graceful arched frames and thatched roofing. The unique curved roof silhouette blends seamlessly with the local mountain, cliff and lush tropical vegetation. Designed as outdoor leisure and sightseeing shelters, these bamboo buildings show how natural bamboo can be engineered into large, stable, eye-catching landscape architecture.
They deliver a rustic tropical atmosphere, offering visitors shaded spaces to rest and admire surrounding natural scenery, proving bamboo is a versatile, eco-friendly building material for resort and park projects.
